When a screenprinter grabs the palette, there are THREE COLORS of specialty paint, RED, GREEN, & YELLOW. With these three colors, the screen printer can create over 1,000,000 different colors for YOUR logo! Just think about that for a moment…

That means there will be some discretion left to the screenprinter as to the fact that screenprinting will have shades of color that only their discerning eyes will know how to create.

When you think about color, each color has hues and shade that are very subtle. When a color is named, that does not mean that it will be the same with every company that makes that color. For example if you want a royal blue, you will get a color that in effect is similar to your idea of royal blue, but it may not be exact to your minds image of royal blue. 

The best way to avoid undesired color in your screen printed logo is to write down the colors you desire. When you have yellow, red or green in your description, these primary colors are those that the screen printer can maintain discretion over. If you special colors for you logo, such as a navy blue or a baby blue, you will have to pay extra for each special color. In effect it requires the screenprinter to use additional colors different from usual.

Screen printing requires different setup and production methods for different types of clothing to be printed on. Screen printing will be cheaper if the color is being put onto a white garment as opposed to a colored garment. 

When getting multiple items screen printed, the more you order the more your cost will be reduced. There are initial charges for set up, charges for screenprinting on colored items, and additional charges per item for specialty garments or items such a bags or hats. There is a charge for the initial setup of the project as well. So when you get custom screenprinting make sure you know what you will get will have an artist touch and a slightly subjective component in the reproduction process.
